Types of Volunteering
- Weekday volunteers – with an experienced FRA representative
- Weekend volunteers – experienced independent horsemen
- Project volunteers – groups for specific needs
- Monthly repair volunteers – carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
What do they do?
Volunteers can help with barn chores, caring for horses, rehabilitating horses, working horses and contributing to any needed repairs or improvements.
High School Volunteers are required to provide a log sheet from their schools and are responsible for keeping record of the hours that they have served. Alison Weissman will sign off on all records at the end of each semester.
Community Service Hours must be approved by the official office you are working through. The log sheet must be provided by the person in need of the hours. Each log sheet will be signed off monthly by Alison Weissman.
